A new video has emerged on YouTube, wherein a giant alligator was spotted taking a casual stroll on Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Palmetto, Florida.
Charles Helms, who shot the video, was appreciating a pleasant afternoon of golf session with his friend when he spotted the gigantic alligator, heading towards them. He quickly reached for his mobile phone and started filming the reptile. Here is the video of this terrifying alligator that he shot:
Charles initially thought that he was being pranked. In an interview with ABC, he said “I was stunned and silent, I didn’t know if we were being punked or something. It was just laying down, resting, when it got up and started moving towards the big lake.”
The internet was quick to question the video’s authenticity. Many believed it to be fake. However, Buffalo Creek Golf Course employee Wendy Schofield confirmed that this giant alligator has made his appearance on the greens many times over the years. She added, “He doesn’t bother anybody and they don’t bother him, he’s like a mascot for the course.”
People believe this alligator to be somewhere around 15 to 16 feet long. That’s huge, considering that the largest American alligator, ever to be caught was 15 feet and 9 inches long.
Three additional videos surfaced on Instagram, soon after, showing the same alligator, even closer. They are equally petrifying and does make the sighting of the reptile, more reliable. Here are the videos:

I’m not certain if this video is authentic or not. But I definitely know that I am not heading towards golf course anytime soon. Don’t want to be in the hazardous situation. I am better off playing on my Playstation indoors. ROFLOL.
