Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is a huge sanctuary and a conservation zone to many flora and fauna in Southern Africa. Spread over 15000 sq. miles, this park includes both sides of the border of South Africa and Botswana, within the southern side of Kalahari Desert. The park is habitat to an abundance of wildlife, in particularly Kalahari lions, Namibian cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas.
Such places like Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park attracts a lot of attention from tourists around the world. Most of them camp in the wilderness to get more close in experiences. One camper shared his story on Facebook a few days ago when they woke up to quite a horrifying surprise. Two lions stood outside their shelter, licking off the water drops on their tent. That’s something no one ever wants to experience. The campers, however, remained calm, and somehow manage to start their camera and capture this intense moment on the film. Here is the video:
Honestly speaking, I wouldn’t have the nerve to start the camera even. I would have kept very quiet and prayed to all my Deities. Fortunately, the campers are safe and alive to tell their story of this really uncomfortable ordeal with the big cats. They could have been an easy breakfast for the big cats of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.
Do share this video with your friends and family. Have a good weekend.
