Have you ever been bitten by an animal? I have. I have been bitten by my pet dog, by a friend’s cat and even by monkeys and ducks. Dogs and cats are supposed to be pets and mostly they don’t bite. However, they are animals and sometimes, even while playing, they can bite you, even if unintentionally. I never in my life expected a monkey to bite me. All I did, was eat some potato chips, not knowing a monkey was standing behind me, with his eyes on the prize. I was a kid, so I fought for my chips. He ended up biting me. As for ducks, most of us have been there. They attack for no reason. I prefer staying as far as them. I was once bitten by a spider as well, but unfortunately, I did not turn into the friendly neighborhood Spiderman. Long story short, if animals have teeth, I think a person in his or her right mind, should avoid getting close to them.
This brings us to a gentleman here in this video. He is feeding Crocodiles by his hand. Yeah! You read that right. Crocodiles. Plural. Why would someone feed an animal that is known for biting? It’s insane. Crocodiles can’t be trusted. They don’t have those genes. Watching the video, you can’t ignore the feeling that something is going to go terribly wrong. The size of each and every crocodile in that pond is bigger than the man feeding them. I can’t help but think that someday, these Crocodiles are going to figure out that they are been given chunks of meat when they can have something much more tummy filling. I hope that day never comes but can’t stop this eerie feeling. Let’s have a look at the video.
According to the sources “In the African village of Sabu, the state of Burkina Faso, tourists can safely pat the crocodile and take a picture next to him. This is possible because the crocodiles in this village are sacred, and their inhabitants are full of food. The place where the “tame” crocodiles are found is called the Crocodile Pond. Living in it crocodiles, local residents consider the guardians of their destinies. It is believed that if a village inhabitant lies, the crocodiles must know about this and eat the cheater.” He further added that “Earlier, people suspected of lying to people even offered to stand by the water so that the “wise” crocodiles decided whether the charge was justified. However, usually, the one who really lied preferred to leave the village than to stand in front of the pond.” So now we know why someone would try something like this. Or perhaps not.
While we are at it, here is another man feeding a live bird to a giant Crocodile. Not only that, after the reptile grabs the bird in its ferocious jaws, this gentleman, casually goes behind him and sits on his back while the monster enjoys his meals. He is known as the “Crocodile Man of Port Moresby” from the Port Moresby Adventure Park in Papua New Guinea.
I don’t know about you but I am very scared of reptiles. And honestly, these videos ain’t helping me. Pretty sure that sleep would be hard to come by this night. I hope you, unlike me, enjoyed these insane videos. If you did, then we will love to hear from you. Leave your feedback and share it with your family and friends too.
