Snakes!!! They are long, legless, carnivorous reptiles. Most species of these serpents are nonvenomous. These species either eat their prey alive or kill them by wrapping their body around their prey and suffocating them, the process that is known as constriction. The other species of serpents are venomous. They use their venom primarily for killing their preys rather than using it for self-defense. Some snakes contain enough venom to kill humans too, but most will cause painful injuries from their bites.
In the past, I have revealed that I have Herpetophobia, which is fear of snakes and reptiles. I am freaked out at the sight of snakes or sometimes grossed out watching the reptiles crawling. It’s probably why I come to write articles on snakes and lizards again and again. People often describe this as a defense mechanism. But I have been assured that I am not the only one with this phobia, in fact, this is one of the most common phobias human face. Interesting fact, Snakes are found in abundance in all continents except Antartica, which sound like a probable place for me to move in to. And if you think that water was a safe place, one of the most venomous snakes is actually a sea-snake, widely found in the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. There is a place called snake island which is so full of these serpents that humans are not even allowed to step foot on that island.
Snakes vary in length as per their species. The smallest known vermins are the long thread snakes that are 10.4 cms long only, whereas, species of pythons can grow up to 22.8 ft. Yikes! That should scare the bravest of men as well. We thought it would be a good idea to list down the ten most venomous serpents in the world. So ROFLOL Video presents
